Why we exist
For any TV or phone there are dozens of tests, measurements and opinions scattered across magazines, specialist channels and thousands of buyers. They are almost always partial, often contradictory, and nobody has time to read them all before buying. That is our job: gather them, compare them, discard the ones that don't hold up, and turn them into a verdict you can act on. It is old-fashioned newsroom work — read a lot, check it, write little and clearly.
How we behave
Independence
No publisher behind us, no advertiser with a veto. Manufacturers don't see our articles before they go live and have no say in the verdicts.
Method
Every verdict rests on sources that are independent of each other, never on a single one. Where sources disagree we say so, instead of picking the most convenient figure.
Clarity
We say who a product suits and who it doesn't. Advice that fits everyone isn't advice: it's a spec sheet rewritten.
Editorial rules
Paid collaborations are labelled as such, always and at the top of the page. Affiliate links are disclosed. We don't take payment for a ranking position or a verdict: anyone who asks gets a no — and asking doesn't even get them reviewed.
